Product: HP Pavilion 500-205t CTO Desktop PC


I enjoy my Windows 7 PC because it is fast.
My  is awesome and running fast on Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) .

But now I need to upgrade to Windows 10 from my HP 500-205t Desktop

Processor: Intel Core i5-4570 CPU @ 3.20GHZ with 8GB RAM

 

I read that the Intel Core i5-4570 (above) works on Windows 10.
But Is this computer compatible with Windows 10?

Note: The WindowsPCHealthCheckSetup on the hp and Microsoft websites  is only for Windows 10 to Windows 11. It doesn't check for Windows 7 to Windows 10 upgrade.

HP supports your PC for W10 as there are drivers on the support page.

The bad news is that Microsoft recently closed the loophole which allowed users to continue to get the free upgrade to W10 from older operating systems.

 

It's official: No more free Windows 10 upgrades | ZDNET

 

That means that you would have to pay to upgrade to W10 which would cost $99 for W10 Home from Microsoft.
