Product: Hp envy 23 Touchsmart All-in-one pc
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

My hp envy 23 fails to self repair on startup but does boot into recovery console.  I ran chkdsk /f but there are so many errors I gave up. How do I restore to a new harddrive? I don't have any of the original cds. Can I restore to a new harddrive from the recovery console or at least recover the windows product key?

I Wanted to reset my pc but the Recovery disk 1 is damaged how can i sort this out
