ProDesk 600 G1 SFF

I just upgraded my ProDesk 600 G1 with some new parts. I installed a new i7 CPU, a Kingston SATA SSD , all new RAM and a low profile GPU. I also installed Windows 10 Pro on the new SSD with Drive Genius on a separate PC then installed the SSD into the ProDesk. Everything is working as intended except I am now attempting to install another OS on the SSD via a .IMG file on a USB flash drive. This is the first time I've attempted installing two OS's on one hard drive. I've done formatting and partitioning before but not sure if I've made a mistake here or there is something else wrong.

I attempted to access the boot menu by pressing F10 at start up right after the green light blinks and tried repeatedly pressing the ESC key to access the BIOS menu but Windows 10 Pro loads anyway. A few times after trying the ESC key the screen did stay dark for awhile but no text ever presented itself and I did wait for a good amount of time, too long really. I have no issue accessing either of these menu's on my Dell laptop and before that on my old HP laptop so I'm very confused and wondering if I have formatted the SSD incorrectly. If I enter settings, security, recovery and click Advanced Start Up the PC reboots into a blue screen with a few options. One option is to boot from several different places. I choose the USB drive I have burnt an image to but the screen remains dark and nothing happens. The new OS does not boot up. I am not sure what the case may be here but I could and would greatly appreciate some help.

Thank You.
