Hey team.
I've had issues with my computer shutting down frequently and complaining it doesn't have an OS and that i should install one.
I've tried restoring it to points were there weren't any issues, and i even factory reset it two months ago using the HP cloud recovery tool without any issues for a few weeks and then the whole thing started over again.
Today when i got back from work it had enough and would just keep rebooting complaining of "WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR" just like last time.
My computer is only a few years only so i think it is far to soon to throw it out on the street in a fit of rage.
I tired factory resetting it again but it starts the process, getting to about 30% before it finishes prematurely. When i click finish the screen goes blue for a minute or two then turns off. If i take out the USB and turn it on it says there isn't an OS
Suggestions would be appreciated 🙂

I tried again for the fifth time because it's 2am and i have nothing better to do and it seems to be initializing the factoy reset normally. Not sure what changed. Maybe it needed a hot moment to sort it's life out.
Thanks for trying. Good to no there are people out there looking out for us in a pickle 🙂

With those symptoms, it could be the hard drive has failed. Run the Diagnostics routine to see.
To run the Diagnostics routine, Start tapping the Esc key BEFORE starting the PC and then press the start button.
Keep tapping the Esc key until a popup menu shows. Then pick Diagnostics from that popup menu, F2.
Report back with the results.

Since the hard drive passed the Diagnostics routine, did you notice if all items passed?
Microsoft indicates that a hardware issue could cause this error also.
If everything passed, you can try looking at this, however it looks like you have to be able to boot before trying what they suggest.
Since you did not give the model number of the Omen HP Desktop you can try some other things.
First, if the PC is eligible for the HP Cloud Recovery - https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06162205
If not, you get the Windows 10 install media from here:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
With a working PC, scroll down to the "Using the tool to create installation media"
and then follow the directions. You can make either the DVD or USB. Use this new media to install Windows 10.
When the install asks for the product key, click the "I don't have a product key" option to continue,
then the install will continue and It will be activated once it connects to the internet, as it uses a digital key.
If it will complete the install using this new media. It will be the latest and greatest Windows 10 version, whereas the HP Cloud Recovery tool will provide whatever the Windows 10 version at "factory new".
Waiting to see how this works out.
