I bought this computer at an estate sale and bought a windows 10 disc to put a new system on it, but I can't get to the BIOS to start. I tried pressing the esc key and the F 10 key and screen says enter power password, even after putting a new hard drive, thinking that would make it start up like a new one. Any help?

When you power on your HP All-in-One - 22-c0032ds, you see the screen light up, but instead of the BIOS options, it demands a "power-on password." It’s like a locked door, asking for the secret key before it will let you pass.
You feel a bit frustrated—pressing the Esc and F10 keys rapidly as the screen shows the same barrier. Even after installing a fresh hard drive, the demand for that password doesn't fade away, sticking stubbornly to the screen like glue.
To reset this lock:
- Listen closely as you restart. Gently tap the F10 key, feeling the click under your fingertips, to reach the BIOS menu.
- That door is still locked. You’ll need to clear the CMOS—the tiny memory that stores BIOS settings, including the password.
- Turn off the computer. Feel the cool metal of the back panel as you carefully unplug the power cord.
- Open the back cover gently. Your fingers feel the smooth surface as you reach inside. Locate the CMOS battery, a small, round silver battery on the motherboard.
- Carefully press it to pop it out, holding it in your palm like a small coin. Wait for 5–10 minutes. You feel the anticipation in the air.
- Now, place it back in its slot firmly. It clicks gently into place.
With a sense of determination, plug in the power cord and power on the computer again. As you press the power button, your heartbeat matches the hum of the machine.
This time, when you press Esc or F10, the door might finally swing open, letting you enter the BIOS to start your fresh Windows installation.
