HP Slim Decktop PC
Microsoft Windows 11

This two week computer won't work right and I want to return it after two weeks. I tried to talk to their help line and they won't help me with my new computer unless I pay them $49 more than I over paid to get an HP. Can I get a shipping label from them and just return it in less than 30 days. I'm just discussed, this is my forth HP computer through the years, but it going to be my last.

@Soundings -- something is not right.

Each new HP computer comes with a 12-month warranty, and you are entitled to exercise that warranty.

Instead, can you take it back to the store that sold it to you, and exchange it?

@Soundings

Only HP can advise you regarding returning used equipment for a refund.

Vague remarks about warranties are basically useless -- as the warranty allows HP the sole choice as to either repair your PC, replace it, or refund you the purchase.

You will have to contact HP on your own to arrange for the return, and we here are not in any position to assist with this.

None of those are "bad" choices. In my opinion:

* "repair" is the least-wanted choice;

* "replace" is in the middle;

* "refund" may be the best, if you would rather buy a Lenovo or Dell or Asus system.

It's been a while since I have bought an HP computer.

Do they still come packaged with some paper that promises "free telephone support" for a few weeks?

They screwed me. I returned it for a refund and they are keeping 15% of my money to refund it. I bought on-line direct from HP. Go to their stores web site and it says $15 to return it. HPs returns section says it doesn't count what it says on THEIR store web site, only what it says on their official warranty page. The person had to walk me through three levels of the warranty to find the 15%. It took them 5 minutes searching the website to find it to show it to me. The total story I have posted to my 3000+ fallowers and asked them to share it as much as they can and make sure no one every buys HP products. For a few dollars they lost themselves my thousands in dollars in sales.

Exactly two weeks after buying it they transferred me to tech and he told me it was $49 to get him to talk to me. So much for their lies. I called after that to return it and got screwed for a big fee to turn it. I could have returned it under warranty, but saw they can replace it with used computer of the same model that they have fixed. Great I bought a new computer to get it replaced with a used worn out computer they have fixed. I returned it taking the loss of 15% of my money gone. THEIR store says a $15 fee to return it. The person at HP had to look for five minutes to find where it said on HPs other website that they took 15%. They had to walk me through three levels of the warranty to show me the 15% that no average person could ever find even if they were looking for it. I just plain got screwed by HP after buying four of their computers before. I've posted all this to my 3000+ fallowers on-line and asked them to repost it.  For a few dollars HP cost themselves many thousands of dollars of sales. I'm going to at least enjoy costing them lots of sales.

I just plain got screwed. I replied to some people with a response to their help that didn't do any good. Too late I let HP screw me. I posted the whole problem to my 3000+ fallowers on-line and asked them to repost it. Hopefully I cost HP many thousands of dollars in sales for them screwing me for a few bucks.
