Hello!

I am trying to boot from a USB stick (created with the Windows MediaCreationTool21H2 which has been tested on another PC to boot.

I have the OS on an NVMe module in slot 6 on the motherboard.

Previously, I populated a 2 slot Turbo Drive card (in the "personality slot") and have configured that using Intel VROC as a RAID 0, which I formatted and installed a second version of Windows on.

After a year or so, that OS has stopped booting, so I want to wipe it clean and re-install Windows.

But I cannot boot from the USB, unless legacy mode is on, but that stops my VROC RAID volume from appearing to the computer.

Within the BIOS settings, USB Storage boot is enabled, booting from USB devices only appears in the Legacy boot devices, greyed out while the system is in UEFI boot mode. The system is set to non-legacy, non-secure booting.

However, I have recently installed the HP Performance Monitor, where more devices are listed under UEFI Boot Order, including HDD:USB:1, which I have moved to the top of the list, to no avail.

But even when I choose that device, the system reboots twice, and returns me to my original install of Windows.

Any and all advice welcome.  Thank you!
