Help! Desperate! Chasing my tail here. Cannot sign onto laptop. Cannot load user profile. Want to do this https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02678801#45c5492b-60fa-4405-aba1-1bd65734b38e but it requires 3 accounts on the laptop. Don't know how to proceed. Do not have any type of recovery disk.
Thanks in advance for any guidance.
Jerry

Good day. Thank you for reaching out to the Hp community. I will be happy to assist you here. Brilliant troubleshooting and dedication to try and resolve the issue. Kudos to you for that.
- Did this occur after a recent software or Windows change?
I need to be candid about it. You may need recovery media to reinstall Windows back. There will be data loss.
Please perform all the relevant steps from this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01867418 (HP PCs - Performing an HP System Recovery (Windows 7)
If recovery works correctly, then you should be able to boot to windows again.
Otherwise, recovery media is required. I will send you a private message to assist you with the next course of action. Check your forum private message box in the upper right corner next to the bell icon.
Good luck and keep me posted about the developments. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue and give the post a Kudos for my efforts to help. Thank you and have a great week ahead. 🙂

Hi David.
Thanks for responding to my plea for help. Unfortunately I cannot afford a data loss. I do have backup which I am going to load into a new laptop which I will be purchasing.
Thanks again for your patience.
