Can you use the keyboard outside of windows? Turn the PC off, then back on. Start tapping ESC straight away. Do you get a blue menu come up? If so press F2 and run keyboard diags quickly.

If that works, then the problem is Windows. You may need to remove all HID devices under device manager and let Windows find them again. I've come across this once before.

If the keyboard DOES NOT respond outside of Windows, change the batteries with known good ones, then try to re-pair it to the receiver. To do this, turn the keyboard off (or remove one battery if it does not have a power switch) Hold the keyboard close to the receiver. Hold down F2 + F3 + F4 keys, put the battery back in (or turn it on) A light will start flashing slow, then start flashing quicker. Once it's finished flashing it'll be re-paired to the receiver.

Wow! Thank you so much for that solution. It worked a treat. This had happened before when I had an update and I took it to a repair shop which cost me £170! To think it was just a case of paring it and I did it myself! I'll know what to do if it happens again. Thank you again.
