I am trying to reinstall windows 10 on an HP ProDesk 600 G3 MT desktop. The computer has no local administrator accounts, so reinstallation requires a boot from a recovery USB. The steps described to access the boot menu - Insert recover USB, Reboot, Press ESC, then F9 - do not work The computer shifts back and forth between just beeping on pressing the ESC key, or ignoring the key press altogether.
I have tried just pressing F9 - no boot of any kind. I have tried ESC and F10, no difference. No matter what I do I cannot get a boot menu in response to the ESC key,
Additional information, the computer is using a wireless keyboard and mouse combo and has 3 HDMI monitors.
Any help is appreceiated
