Spectre
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I can take screenshots when in Landscape mode--I press the "prt sc" key and I get a pop-up message that the Screenshot is saved and added to OneDrive.  When I look in the Screenshots folder, it is there!

When I rotate the computer by 90 degrees, it goes into Portrait mode. Now if I press the "prt sc" key, nothing happens, no pop-up message and nothing is saved in the Screenshot folder.

This question was asked previously and the answer which worked for the previous asker was:

----------

Use the Windows "Snipping Tool".

In Windows 10, it has a "timer" option, like on many cameras -- launch the software, set the timer, adjust the capture window, and then wait for the timer to expire.  Then, use "Save As" to create a JPG or PNG file.

----------

To get the Snipping Tool, I press Windows+Shift+s.

This works fine for Landscape Mode I get the little Snipping Tool toolbar where I can select the whole screen.

However, in Portrait Mode, pressing Windows+Shift+s does nothing -- no little Snipping Tool toolbar, nothing...

hi @FrankH13

Have you tried opening the software without the windows shortcut?
if you don't have it on your desktop, look for the program, then attach it to the taskbar / and or a shortcut on the desktop

[edit]I feel like this can't work
I just did a test, but I have two monitors
the result was rather strange..
i will try again

[edit]

bad handling i think
I tried again, not practical, but I took a capture of the second, in portrait mode, and the first landscape
it works
