Caps lock flashing

Hi so the caps lock on my hp laptop is flashing 5 times, 3 normal ones and a quick 2 at the end. I’ve read online that it’s either a system board failure or a ram issue. Could someone help me out?

Could you please share the exact model number of your laptop? You can usually find it on a label on the bottom of the device.

Also, could you describe any other symptoms you’re seeing when you press the power button? For example:

• Does the screen stay completely black, or does it briefly light up?

• Do you see or hear anything (fans spinning, keyboard backlight, HP logo, etc.) before the blinking starts?

These details will help narrow down whether the issue is related to the memory, system board, or something else.
