Microsoft Windows 10 IOT

When I connect A bigger monitor to my little HP pavilion All In One to the HDMI connection I get choppy on line game play.  The game is Quake Live and it's on Steam. Can this problem be corrected ? Windows 10.

What is your machine, it could be too weak to play online games. We need to know what is your machine to be able to help.

Not sure about the model # but plays fine on its' own.  I've even tried starting the game on the all in one  with no choppiness, then connect the HDMI cable and the choppiness is back.
