Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Have HP Envy 750-435ST CTO which has the I7-6700, Nvidia 960 GeForce with 250GB SSD and 16GB of RAM. A couple weeks ago the screen went blank. So tried a different graphics card, still nothing. After a few restarts trying to get into the advanced troubleshoot screen I finally started to do a clean install. After a few minutes stop screen. I am not going to list them because there are about 10 different ones from 121. 145, 125, page fault, to list a few. To list all things attempted and cannot load clean install. Disconnected everything but the SSD and RAM, Removed RAM one stick at a time, Ran MEMTEST on each stick of RAM in each slot. Disabled UEFI and tried legacy, changed SSD from GPT to MBR, so then changed back. Put a new SSD in and nothing. Updated the BIOS and that did nothing so bought a exact same used mother board and swapped out the motherboard, still same thing. I even put SSD in a Dell (don’t have any HP) and was able to do a windows 10 clean install. So, I put the hard drive back in the system and still BSOD. Not sure what else to do…

@terryfl64 I recommend you perform an extensive hardware test to identify the cause of the failure using the below steps:

 

Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.

On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.

Click Extensive Test.

Click Run once, or Loop until error.

While the test is running, the time remaining and test result for each component display on the screen.

If a component fails a test, write down the failure ID (24-digit code) for when you respond back to us.
