Example: Pavilion 590

My computer is up to date, the sleep settings are set like the HP website recommends, and the malware scan is negative.  I can manually put the computer to sleep, but it does not automatically go to sleep.  Thank you for any help.

Hi,

What W10 version are you running?

I am running 20H2 with the same symptom. The PC was fine until recently. I can't isolate the cause.

This problem may be out of our control.

Hi,

It seems the sleep problems on my PCs may be solved using W10 20H2.

Uninstalled the latest optional quality update, 2021-02 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 10 Version 20H2 for x64-based Systems (KB4601382).

PCs are now entering sleep as expected. This may or may not be your problem.

Check this site (Link) for tips on solving sleep problems. Generating and reviewing a power report may help.

Regards
