Greetings @1tentimes
Welcome to the HP Forum.
This is a tough one to solve; too many causes.
Please provide your PC's component specifications. Or provide a product number. Hopefully a Forum member can look at your PC's specifications using your PC's product number.
When did this problem start?
Check your PC's hardware using HP Diagnostics as follows:
Start the PC. Repeatedly tap the "ESC" key.
Select "F2". Run extensive system and component tests to confirm: a drive problem, a memory problem, or other component problem.
Other Troubleshooting Considerations:
How many startup programs are running in Task Manager? How many processes do you see in Task Manager?
What Windows version are you using? Did you upgrade from W10 to W11?
Have you ever started fresh by backing up data and reinstalling the operating system using HP Cloud Recovery or Windows installation media?
Your PC's hardware may be struggling to get things done or the current Windows installation needs a refresh.
Regards
