Hi @proboat,

Thank you for the response.

Try these steps:

Access the BitLocker Recovery Key:

  • The BitLocker recovery key is typically stored in your Microsoft account, on a printed document, or saved to a USB drive.
  • If you are unable to retrieve the key, visit the Microsoft Account or check with your IT administrator (if applicable) for access.

Using Function Keys:

  • Ensure the keyboard settings are correct, enabling use of function keys to enter the recovery key. Sometimes, toggling NumLock or using an external USB keyboard can help.

Attempt a Different Entry Method:

  • Verify the keyboard layout settings and consider connecting an external USB keyboard if the built-in one does not allow alphanumeric input.

Access Safe Mode:

  • Attempt to boot into Safe Mode by powering off the device and turning it back on while pressing F8. This might enable you to access more diagnostic options.

Reset BIOS/UEFI Settings:

  • If you have made changes to the system’s BIOS or UEFI recently, reset them to default settings. Access BIOS/UEFI by restarting your computer and pressing the relevant key (usually F2, F10, or Esc) immediately upon reboot.

I hope this helps.
