Computer won’t turn on. Looking to speak to live agent amd send in to HP for repair

I ow. HP Envy all in one.  Wont turn on after sending to local repair for “thermal shutdown”.  I need to speak to a live agent about sending it into HP for repair

I don't know the circumstances under which HP accepts out-of-warranty repair requests.

I sent in a request for information.

The solution I have been provided is that you should contact HP Support.


Our options to forward this type of request within the Community are limited, especially when the Warranty status is not clear.


In general, it is my understanding that acceptance of an out-of-warranty request for repair is the exception rather than the rule.  That means, unless there is an overriding circumstance to submit an out-of-warranty repair to HP Support, the customer is best served handling out-of-warranty repairs through a local repair house in his / her region.

       NOTE:  If the single-system-check fails to find your device, use the "multiple devices" method to

check single or multiple devices.


  • If necessary, Select your Country on the main website page or at the bottom (click Flag)
  • Scroll down > To the right of Check multiple warranties, Click Continue
  • Enter the Serial Number and Country for one or more devices / systems to be checked
  • Check the box to verify you are "Not a robot"
  • Click Submit (at bottom of list entries)
  • When the page opens, Click View Details
