The issue of providing RAM memory for the integrated Vega 7 video card. HP 8906 motherboard (Erica 6), BIOS - AMI f.03 - there is no way to assign the size of the allocated memory. Default - 512MB

@RussianJesus -- enter BIOS SETUP, and look for an option to change the "512MB" value to a larger value.

Note that a larger value will reduce the amount of RAM available to Windows.

Or, disable the onboard video, and purchase/install an add-in PCI-e video-card that has its own RAM, rather than "borrowing" RAM from Windows.

the fact is that there is no such setting in BIOS - this is the problem.rxOcPRhWcmI.jpgrFM0LVj4Yno.jpgyn_U-Z2qiqM.jpgzRifuntrWOw.jpg

@RussianJesus -- one of the images shows that the AMD processor contains integrated graphics that should be compatible with a "gaming computer".

None of the other images seem to show an option to change the "512" value.

So, your only solution is to add-in a higher-end graphics card, with its own (very fast) 2 or 4 or 18 or 16 GB) RAM mounted on the card.

Then what's the point in this built-in graphics, if it can take up to 2 GB of RAM, but due to the lack of settings in the assembly, it only takes 512 MB?

HP Recommended

@RussianJesus -- where does it state that up to 2 GB is supported?

Note that some motherboards default to allow the INITIAL "stealing" of 512 MB of RAM, and then an ADDITIONAL 1.5 GB of RAM, as dynamically needed.
