Hi everyone,
So I'm confused about my pc I have a HP prodesk 600 g1 and basically when I plug it in I immediately get 5 long beeps and 2 short beeps I've tried all sorts to solve this problem and I'm confused on what this could be.
Thank you

@Georgia1999 -- does your pattern of "beeps" match any of the patterns at: HP and Compaq Desktop PCs - BIOS Beep Codes | HP® Customer Support
?

@Georgia1999 -- if you have more than one stick of RAM, remove the additional ones, and reboot with just ONE stick of RAM connected. Repeat after swapping sticks.
Also, be sure that any PCIe video-card is properly "seated" in its slot.

@Georgia1999 -- can you replace any current add-in video-card, or add-in a video-card, if your computer currently is using "integrated graphics" ?
Less easy is to remove the add-in video-card, and connect it into a working computer, to see if the video-card works at all.

hi
the document you are being told is not the correct one
the only match I found
But hard to do what is described I think
- The red LED blinks to represent the major error category (long blinks).
- The white LED blinks to represent the minor error category (short blinks). For example, ‘3.5’ indicates 3 long red blinks and 5 short white blinks.
- 1 second pause occurs after the last major blink.
- 2 second pause occurs after the last minor blink.
- Beep error code sequences occur for the first 5 iterations of the pattern and then stop.
- Blink error code sequences continue until you unplug the computer or press the power button.

but from what I have read, even the manual here, does not give the same errors!

Best advice I can give you instead of wasting time here,
it is to have the computer tested by a professional
I found another document, hp for another series, I thought I had something
but the document is incomplete for me
all that would show,, what i thought would be a system board issue
but that does not indicate anything more
