HP Recommended
Product: HP Z640 Base Model Workstation
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a z640 and I am considering upgrading the cpu.  I was thinking about going with a higher TDP.  Is this possible on this computer.  I read that it only takes a 145W but looking around I see them sold with a 160W CPU so I'm kind of confused.  I don't want to purchase a higher TDP CPU if it wont' work.  Any assistance is appreciated.
