Product: Z440
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I had support, whenever it made sense to upgrade OS, Windows, etc., HP encouraged me to call for assistance.  Now that support ended, I have no clue how to upgrade OS, Windows etc.  My product is a workstation and HP support always suggested that I manually update critical drivers etc.  How do I know which drivers are critical?  Is there an order by which to upgrade?

Most of the times, Windows 10 updates will find new/critical drivers for you. HPSA (HP Support Assistant) program also helps you with new/critical updates.

 

I normally run Windows updates twice a month. I also run HPSA at least once a month. You can leave them to run automatically.
