Hi, I have a HP OMEN 15-EK1030NL i was using Windows 11 24H2, I think that after going back to a previous restore point, after a few days, I turn on the PC and it gives me a "critical process died" error in a loop, I tried to do Go back to a restore point where I didn't have this problem but it doesn't even let me select the C disk, because the local disk (C) appears with the writing under the status "activate protection System for the drive " and above it says "The drive containing Windows should always be restored". I also tried to reset the PC but even if I choose to remove all files it tells me "there is There was a problem while resetting the PC" I also tried to reinstall Windows with a USB stick with an ISO file of Windows 11 but it tells me as soon as it gets to around 30% of initialization"Unable to install Windows " I tried to do a full diagnostic but it doesn't show any hardware problems. I can't even restart in safe mode, the only thing I haven't tried is r Restore system image, but I don't know how

Greetings @Gabriele459
Welcome to the HP Forum.
Was your PC using Device Encryption (BitLocker)? BitLocker has a tendency to cause all kinds of problems if the TPM freaks out.
A CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED error usually suggests system file corruption. But a failing HDD/SSD or faulty memory can also cause system file corruption.
Did you run extensive HP hardware diagnostics at startup?
You should have been able to do a clean Windows install using a bootable Windows USB stick created from a W11 .ISO.
Did you use the Windows Media Creation Tool or did you use Rufus to create the W11 USB installation media?
Did you disconnect all unnecessary peripherals before trying a clean W11 installation?
I'm thinking you tried a custom W11 installation. And you deleted all existing partitions contained on the system drive. You then did a clean install using the system drive's unallocated space. Is this correct?
It sounds like your PC has a hardware problem if you can't do a clean W11 installation on an empty (unallocated space) disk.
You could also try a HP Cloud Recovery to see how this goes. You definitely (99.9%) have a hardware problem if a HP Cloud Recovery fails.
