I came home from being gone and tried to start my computer. It tried to reboot, repair and restart. I am getting the blue screen of death with the critical process died. I have been running through all the options and can’t get anything to work. Any help is appreciated.

You need to determine if the disk is bad or if it is simply corrupted and needs a startup repair or possibly just boot into safe mode and see what the problem is.
Turn the power on and tap the ESC key to get into the diagnostics menu. Press F2 to run the UEFI diagnostics. Can you pass the memory and disk test?
If you can pass the memory and disk test then you need to do a startup repair.
To do a startup repair you need boot into windows recovery mode. First read this article about safe mode.
Skip down to 'Enter safe mode from outside windows'. If F11 does not get you into system recovery then try turning the power on and off three or more times in a row.
Then Advanced => Troubleshoot => Startup Settings => Safe mode
|
Enable safe moode and reboot
Bring up the device manager and see what problems are listed.
Let me know what happens
If you cannot get into safe mode then do the startup repair

I made it to the test and it began to run for a few minutes and then my desktop dies. I tried to do it again and it dies before I can get anywhere. It wasn’t doing that previously as fast. It would die after a while or using troubleshooting menus.
