DESKTOP just stuck

How does HP only warrant a 499.00 plus tax desktop for a year., do they set it up to fail after a year? For me to be done barely taken it out the box and all it does is turn on,let me put in my password and just buffers. It's been buffering for days, every time I turn it on and windows always pop up with them updates

The purchase price is meaningless -- the standard HP warranty is for 12 months.

@WAWood it may not mean anything to you but, it means a lot tome and  and to pay that much I shouldn't be having any issues period

I understand that this is very unpleasant, since I also encountered a problem from the start with a computer!
I guess @WAWood   also, but that's just a remark, poorly worded
Regardless of the price, my computer had cost me a lot more than that, almost double!
It's bad luck, me it was just the hard drive that was faulty from the first start, but once replaced it still works
It is certainly a little tired, but bought in 2013!
Sometimes it's even better for it to happen right away, rather than at the end of the warranty.

Do not bother with that, if you bought the computer, elsewhere than at the store, hp, return it, get your money back if possible
If not, contact Hp support directly, don't waste time here
