Product: Pavilion 1414
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Drive will begin to load, pauses then ejects DVD and an error message comes up to insert a disc. Does this with blank or filled DVD. The DVD is CDDVDW SH 216ALN

My guess is that you have Autoplay enabled for the disk drive -- and it is trying to load the disk and running into some kind of problem, and then ejecting the disk.
See this article about AutoPlay settings: (9) Reset AutoPlay Settings to Default in Windows 10 | Tutorials (tenforums.com)
