Hi, looking for some help. I deleted a folder thinking it would go to my recycling bin but when checking it's not there and it had important documents in them.

I've searched everywhere and can't find the folder itself or documents by name.
I don't have a back up/ recovery set up on my laptop. Is there any way I can retrieve these files?

Thanks in advance.

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

That can happen if the files are on an external USB stick.

The files may not go to the recycle bin. They should still be on the drive if they have not been overwritten with new data.

You could try Recuva-free version (Link) on the drive if this is your situation.

Regards
