My son's HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop upgraded to Windows 11 and then several days later updated the bios automatically. When he restarted the computer none of the external connections work. The monitor is not recognized, and based on all the troubleshooting the HP representative had us go through, the keyboard and mouse also are not recognized, meaning all the ports are down. Not sure if the bios fried the components (not likely) or if something just is cut off but we cannot access the PC through normal means and basically need to manually reset it or something of that nature. Any help would be appreciated.

@fetterden -- based on all the troubleshooting the HP representative had us go through ...
Did that person go any further, and tell you how to resolve your issue?
Is the original one-year HP Warranty still in effect? If so, HP will fix your computer, at their expense.
If the warranty has ended, you can either pay HP or any computer technician to trouble-shoot.
