I made sure it was not in tablet mode but it hasn't changed. Sometimes when I check, it has changed back. I really don't know how this happened. I shut the lid for an hour to go do something and when I came back everything had changed. Please help!

Welcome to the HP Forums!
Thank you for posting your query on this forum, it's a great place to find answers.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details and I would appreciate if you could, perhaps elaborate on your concern.
- When was the last time the computer was working fine?
- What is the exact model for your computer?
- What is the operating system you are using?
- Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
- Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?
Look forward to hearing from you and you have a great day!
Take care.
Cheers!

I really appreciate your answer. I had tried the solution from before. For some reason it kept switching back to tablet mode. I am not sure what I did, but I did get it back. I must have gotten it to stay on the regular setting somehow. I am just glad it is back where it belongs. I didn't know how to let everyone know that first solution worked. IT DID! Thank you.
