Hello,

I am trying to boot a new NVMe drive that works and has been preloaded with 10 and business software, but the preloaded OS operation is stopping it..

Hi @Howie944

Welcome to the HP Forum.

You have verified the new NVMe drive works with a different PC.

You haven't provided your PC specs so an older PC running an NVMe drive using a PCIe to NVMe adapter may not see the NVMe drive as a bootable device.

I would disconnect the current (system) drive to see if the PC will run Windows using only the new NVMe drive.

Start the PC to check for a successful windows startup using the new drive.

Then tap "F9" to get to the "Boot Device Options" menu if the PC will not run Windows with the new drive. No UEFI boot drive in this menu with only the new NVMe drive connected to the MB suggests the PC is not seeing the NVMe drive.

Regards
