Could someone please help me to disable the Fn key so that I do not need to press it each time I want to use a function key?  I have researched the user manual, checked my bios, called the support line (after waiting on hold twice I was hold to call back), reviewed the questions here but am no further ahead and searched the internet.  My bios does not have an option to change this setting.

I would be so grateful.

@Golden_Girl57 -- since the BIOS has no option to disable the "FN" key, and your current keyboard seems to lack a "FN LOCK" key, the easiest solution is to buy a new keyboard that does NOT have a "FN" key, to meet your needs.
