Hi:

 

The long DST error in your screenshot means the hard drive has failed, a new one needs to be installed as well as the operating system.

After restarting, everything works fine... So the disk in is working but I still want to know what caused the error.

Unfortunately, I would have no idea why the error occurred.

 

I highly recommend you back up any files you don't want to lose onto a portable hard drive because the disk will probably quit working for good.

 

It is not a matter of if a hard drive will fail, but a matter of when.
