Hi,
Download the BIOS update.
Run the .exe file to do the update.
Don't interrupt this process or turn off your PC until the update completes.
The BIOS update should abort if there is a compatibility problem.

Hi,
You could do that.
But the Windows 8 BIOS update should install correctly on Windows 10.
You should not need to use Windows 8.x to install the BIOS update.
Again, it should work. The W8.x BIOS update should abort if there is a operating system compatibility problem.
You should not need the BIOS update to upgrade the processor.
