Hey guys, so I recently bought a refurbished HP Compaq 8200 and I'm looking to upgrade the ram from 4GB to 20GB (by adding two 8GB memory cards)

My question is, will this be stable (upgrading to 20GB) and will the ram I want to purchase work on the computer.

The memory is (MaxM 8GB DDR3L 1600 Dimm memory)

Please help advise because I want to buy this tomorrow (09/03/2024)

Hi:

If you want to buy a HP Elitedesk 8200 SFF or MT, or CMT those have four memory slots and will support up to 4 x 8 GB of DDR3-1333 MHz memory.

DDR3L-1600 memory should also work fine, but will run at 1333 Mhz.

I have two HP 8200 Elite CMTs both running with 32 GB of memory.

Great PC's.  I still use one of the two now.  The other is a spare.
