I need help, for some reason the other day my games were telling me that my driver doesnt support directx11 but i have directx12 and windows 11 installed with all updates. i have yet to resolve this issue i have a geforce rtx 2060 and would love some assistance

Here are some steps you can follow:

 

Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date. Visit the official NVIDIA website and download the latest drivers for your GeForce RTX 2060.

Verify DirectX Installation: Confirm that DirectX is correctly installed on your system. You can do this by running the DirectX Diagnostic Tool. Press Win + R, type "dxdiag," and press Enter. Check the "System" and "Display" tabs for information about your DirectX version.

Reinstall DirectX: If you suspect an issue with DirectX, you can try reinstalling it. You can download the latest version from the official Microsoft website.

Check Game Settings: Ensure that your game settings are configured to use DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, depending on the game's requirements. Look for in-game settings or configuration files that specify the DirectX version.

Windows Compatibility Mode: Right-click on the game's shortcut or executable file, go to "Properties," and navigate to the "Compatibility" tab. Try running the game in compatibility mode for an earlier version of Windows.
