HP ENVY 20-D117C TOUCH SMART ALL IN ONE DESKTOP PC

IT ALL STARTED A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO, I HAVE A PHOTO OF MYSELF AND MY BROTHER ON MY LOADING SCREEN WELL OF A SUDDEN WHEN THAT WOULD COME UP IT WOULD NOT ALLOW THE PASSCODE TO POT UP SO I WOULD HARD REBOOT THEN WINDOWS SCREEN WOULD BE UP INSTEAD OF MINE AND THE PASSCODE WOULD COME UP.. THEN YESTERDAY I TURNED ON MY COMPUTER AND IT SAID ERROR CLOCK WATCHDOG TIMEOUT. IT ASK ME IF I WANTED TO REINSTALL WINDOWS AND DELETE MY FILES I SAID YES THE DELETEING OF THE FILES AND WINDOWS WENT WELL BUT IT WILL NOT INSTALL WINDOWS KEEP GETTING THIS MESSAGE IT REPAIRING THEN THIS COMES UP    THE COMPUTER RESTARTED UNEXPECTEDLY OR

ENCOUNTERED AN UNEXPECTED ERROR. WINDOWS INSTALLATION CANNOT PROCEED. TO INSTALL WINDOWS, CLICK "OK" TO RESTART THE COMPUTER , AMD THEN RESTART THE INSTALLAION. SO I HIT OKAY IT RESTARTS MY COMPUTER THEN I GET THAT SAME MESSAGE AGAIN. I TRIED F2 BUT MY KEYBOARD ONLY STAYS LIGHTED FOR 7 SECONDS THEN GOES OUT UNTIL HP COMES BACK ON THEN THE KEY BOARD WILL COME BACK ON. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO PLEASE HELP

The combination of error messages implies that your hard drive has failed, that's most likely why the reinstallation failed.

 

If your PC is new enough to support UEFI, you can use these steps to test the hard drive: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00439024

If not, to check the drive you have to follow these steps:
1) Press Esc key repeatedly, several times a second, while rebooting the laptop. Do NOT hold the key down, just press it over and over.
2) Eventually, you will see an HP Startup Menu
3) Press the Function key for testing the hard drive (usually F2) and let it run.

 

IF you're not able to do those tests, you would need to contact an HP Repair or Service Center.
