My  800 mini g3 currently has a mechanical disk hard drive installed. I want to install a M.2 Nvme drive that is already formatted but the OS (win11) won't recognize the drive.

Hi @Ed53219 

 

It looks like your PC supports NVME drives.

 

Have you checked Disk Management detection of the NVME drive after starting Windows with the HDD?

 

Do you have an operating system installed on the NVME drive?

 

I don't believe a OS drive using MBR will boot unless you use CSM in the BIOS. This would be Legacy mode in the HP BIOS.
