Also a great way to look at what's running currently on your computer is the Process Explorer by Sysinternals (Microsoft)
It can be downloaded from here:

It is always a good idea to use Google a lot if you wonder what a certain process or program is and what it does. Read a few descriptions and opinions before doing any changes. Many times they are, well, opinions and you should almost never trust the first one only.

Don't underestimate the capabilities of the built-in "Resource Monitor" in Windows 10.
Use CTRL-ALT-DELETE to open Task Manager.
Switch to its "Performance" tab.
Near the bottom, click "Resource Monitor".
It can "drill-down" on disk & CPU & RAM & network usage, to show the largest "consumers" of the resource.
