I have an Omen 45L desktop that I needed to reset a few days ago. During the process, something happened and it's now in an eternal reboot cycle. The Omen logo appears on screen with a spinning wheel and then the screen may briefly (a second or 2) show a blue screen for the install of Windows 11 saying 64% installed and then the computer restarts, and the process starts over (sometimes it restarts before the blue screen).

While I have a basic to slightly better ability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions when I don't know what's happening - this is completely outside of my experience and I don't know how to proceed.

Greetings @centerfield17

Welcome to the HP Forum.

I am guessing you previously backed up data since you have tried a Windows reset.

This looks like extreme system file corruption or a possible hardware problem (maybe the system disk or memory).

Check your PC's hardware using HP Diagnostics as follows:

Start the PC. Repeatedly tap the "ESC" key.

Select "F2". Run extensive system and component tests to confirm: a drive problem, a memory problem, or other component problem.

Then try a HP Cloud Recovery if HP diagnostic tests pass.

Regards
