Hello, we are using a bunch of All-in-one computers for displaying a dashboard website, there is no keyboard or mouse they just display the website and we need it to run 24/7. The computers are running Ubuntu 22.04.
Currently we have a problem with some of our HP22 and HP24 computers - after a few days the ethernet interface suddenly stops working completely. The weird thing is that nothing fixes this problem other than restarting the whole computer - restarting the network manager, restarting the interface make no difference.
The only other thing I can note is that the little ethernet icon changes such that there is a question mark over it when it happens.
These computers have:
Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 15)
$ sudo ethtool -i enp5s0
driver: r8169
version: 5.19.0-051900-generic
firmware-version: rtl8168h-2_0.0.2 02/26/15
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you very much
