Hello, I am a total beginner to computers , well not a total beginner, I've taken a couple of classes but I'm certainly no tech and probably had no business in the Event Viewer because I have no idea what any of that stuff means, but none the less, somehow I ended up browsing through the logs on my computer's Event Viewer when I came across one that has me totally tripping! I already posted this question to Microsoft Community and was referred to you for help. So anyhow I have an HP Omen running Windows 10 and I was in Event Viewer>Administrative Events> of which there were 2,284 events>Error>Event 80>HP Active Health. Under the General Tab it read "SECURITY WARNING- Unable to deserialize super secret file hashes. Will assume evil is afoot- all Validate 0 calls will return DOESNT_MATCH at HP. Active Health. Commons. Security. Hash Store. Loadhashesfromfile0"
Log Name: Application
Source: HP Active Health Logged: 10/28/2018 9:55:41 AM
Event ID: 80 Task Category: None
Level: Error Keywords: Classic
User: N/A Computer: DESKTOP-71N5B3J
Op Code:
Can someone please help me decode this, or tell me that I am tripping for no reason. Or do I have a good reason to be tripping? The wording is crazy (I think)!!! Any help would really be appreciated.
Thank you.

Good day thank you for being a part of the Hp community. I reviewed the post and will be glad to assist you.
Excellent description of the issue. Kudos to you for that.
- DId you restart the computer and check event viewer again?
- DId you run a malware or virus scan with the latest security software?
Let's try these steps now:
- There is no undue cause for concern here as the vent viewer is a log of events that are reported by the system.
- The system fixes issues and creates an event log shown by the event viewer.
- Please perform these steps:
- Run all the latest Windows 10 updates and ensure that they are correctly installed on the computer.
- Then update the bios and chipset drivers from this link: http://hp.com/drivers and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Then run the HP support assistant and ensure that all the latest updates that are recommended are installed.
- Update your security software to its latest version and un a spyware and virus scan on your computer.
- If it reports nothing then there is nothing to worry about.
- Then restart your computer and check if it works correctly. if it works well, then give yourself a pat on your back for a job well done. You have fixed the issue on your own and did not rent a certain Sherlock Holmes expensive services to diagnose and solve things for you.
- You could also check an older related post which has been accepted as a solution in the HP forums.
This should answer your queries.
Good luck and keep me posted about the developments. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue and give the post a Kudos for my efforts to help. Thank you and have a great week ahead. 🙂

Bonjour,
Cordialement,
