Pavilion 23

Hi! My mom has a HP Pavilion23 desktop computer. She doesn't know the password and the email it's under she no longer has access to! How do I factory reset the whole thing? I've tried hitting F11 and nothing happens. Please help!

If the password is for Windows and not the BIOS, it is fairly easy but we are not allowed to help with that.  Google is your friend.  However, if the password is a BIOS password, then you will not be able to to gain access.  Just an FYI: in case it is not a BIOS password, F11 or other functions can be gained in this manner

To gain access to the popup menu that has access to the F11 and other things, start tapping the Esc key and then press the start button.   Keep tapping the Esc key until a popup menu shows. Then pick F11 from that popup menu.
Report back with the results.

I actually figured it out! I held in shift while I restarted the computer and the troubleshoot screen popped up and I was able to reset that way! Thanks for your help!
