I am failing a PC scan for job purposes. I have been receiving the following failed PC scan message:

Welcome to our HP User Forum!
If your question is: what the best compatible processor is to replace your i5-4590 (3.30 GHz to 3.70 GHz, 4-Cores, 4-Threads), then the best option would be an i7-4790 (3.60 GHz to 4.00 GHz, 4-Cores, 8-Threads), with both having a 84-watt TDP. [EDIT: or an i7-4770K]
However, even though an i7-4790 performs pretty good in my opinion (if paired with a decent GPU, for example), I am not sure if an i7-4790 [i7-4770K] would meet the processor requirement you are looking for/needing. It may be that your PC is not up to the task you need it to be.

Hope this was helpful.
