Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I am trying to access my bios so i can overclock some new ram i have recently installed.

Upon trying to access the bios i have come across a few problems.

1) None of the keys seen online load up into BIOS the computer comes on to the login display

( i have disable fast boot and still get the same issue)

2) i try to access the Bios via the recovery screen by clicking advanced options, UEFI settings.

when clicking on this my PC restarts then displays a blank screen like its struggling to show the BIOS screen

I am using a new MSI monitor attached via display port. I have also tried using HDMI and have the same issue.

Does anyone know how i can access the BIOS so i can overclock my ram

I am running HP NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 3GB

Kind regards,

Jake

@J4K3BRO,

BIOS access is via a function key immediately upon power-on.  You will have to try Esc, F2, F8, F0, or F11.

XMP is required in the BIOS.  Pushing the voltages can harm the motherboard.

I am aware of this and the none of the keys have seemed to work for me.

Sometimes F10 seems to restart my pc and then i get the same blank screen
