Product: HP 255 15.6 inch G9 Notebook PC (50J79AV)

Hi,

 

I received this laptop through DSA for University & since receiving it, there has been a consistent loud fan noise coming from the fan on the right next to the screen.

I have tried all the advice given through the online chat features, I have sent it back to DSA for them to have a look at it.

 

I was wondering if there was anything I can do to mitigate or get rid of this noise as I am unable to use it in Lecture theatres and Seminars due to it being so loud.
