Hello, so today I went to my file explorer to see that my downloads and quick access menus have gone. I tried enabling it in view, along with following countless forums and youtube videos. However nothing works. I then tried pinning an image to quick access to see if it might reapear. I got an error code saying "a disk error occurred during a read operation" This was at the time of running dells security wolf scan which might of caused this. I updated to the newest version of windows 11.
After this I can no longer pin anything. The only way I can view downloads (but not quick access) is showing "all folders" in file explorere. I am worried if this is some virus or hard disk problem. If someone could help. Thank you.
The only things I did before where open After effects and clear my appdata and %appdata% along with fully shutting down by holding shift and clicking shut down.
Fixed!! found a comand prompt that reset my pins
