Ive installed a software and map a network drive and also logged in Outlook, once the PC went to sleep few things ive installed are gone. Same thing happened when i changed the power cable of the PC, which required me to restart. The only solution i had was to set the Sleep Mode to "Never". any other solution to this?

In terms of the apps, how did you confirm they were gone? I would have opened Control Panel, Programs ... and looked to see if the app entry was still there.  Simply because a desktop shortcut is missing does not mean the app was uninstalled -- as you can easily recreate the shortcut.

How did you confirm the files were gone?  Was it a missing shortcut or did you actually open File Manger and check that the folder and/or file was no longer there?

How old is the PC and how long has this been happening?
