Microsoft Windows 11

I had an issue with my computer where I had to wipe the drive and try to reinstall windows. My usual Windows 11 install USB would not work, it kept on saying that there was a missing driver to locate my hardware, even after re-creating it. I was then recomended to use the cloud recovery tool, with booted into the process, but when it got to the recovery part after restarting, it stated that there was no flag found for it to use. Could it be that I did something wrong with the cloud recovery tool, seeing as I had to use it on a different device?

I wouldn't be able to help you with why the cloud recovery tool software isn't working, but on PC's with Intel 11th > 13th gen core processors, you have to load the Intel storage drivers at the point where Windows cannot find any drives to install on.

I have zipped up and attached below, the Intel storage controller drivers needed for Windows to find the drive.

Unzip and copy all of the files in the folder in the attachment to a USB flash drive.

Have the flash drive and your Windows installation media plugged into USB ports.

Boot from the Windows installation flash drive.

When you get to the screen where no drives can be found, click on the Load driver option, browse to the flash drive with the storage controller drivers on it.

If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.

If Windows still can't find the drive, uncheck the box to include the compatible driver and try any of the ones listed.

Dude thanks a ton, I had no clue that this was a thing that I needed to watch out for!

You're very welcome.

I tried every driver that was in the folder, it would get to the installing windows 11 screen, restart at 100%, and loop back to asking me to install a driver to show hardware. install.jpgready.jpginstalling.jpgloop.jpg

There must be some other driver missing, because Windows can see the drive and goes to install then asks for another driver but it would not be one for the SSD that I gave you.

The only driver I can think of that Windows is looking for is this one:

Intel Gaussian and Neural Accelerator Driver

I have zipped up and attached that driver below.

Use the same method to load the driver as you did for the storage controller drivers.

This time it actually showed up under the driver that are compatible

It is still looping and just going back to this screen:

There's only one other file that I can think of that has drivers the PC may be looking for and that is the motherboard chipset driver file.

This zip file has two folders with drivers so try the drivers in both folders.

If that doesn't work either, unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.
