HP Envy Beats All in 1 PC

I had a HP Envy Beats all in one pc. The hardrive got fried and wouldn't bootbc of no OS. I copied my OS from a newer computer onto a USB and booted the old one that way. Now that I can get into my computer and have access to internet on it is there anyway I can get my original OS that goes with the computer?

Hi:

HP no longer sells the original OS recovery media for your PC, but you can still order it from this vendor at the link below...

So I have to pay for something I've already bought?

That's the only way to get the HP installed OS back which was the subject of your post.

You can reinstall W8,1 for free by downloading the plain W8.1 64 bit ISO file from the link below.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows8ISO

You can use the Microsoft tool from the link below that you will need to transfer the ISO file to a DVD or USB flash drive so that it is bootable, or you can use a different free utility such as Rufus.

You do not need a product key to install Windows 8.1 since the product key is in the PC's BIOS.

After W8.1 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.
