Getting constant pop sound from the system, showing usb malfunctioned.

Unplug all USB devices and power down the laptop.  Do not plug anything into any USB ports.  Does the problem go away when you power back up?

 

Bring up the device manager, expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers (if necessary) and see if you can spot what device is causing the problem.  Either the wrong driver installed or a defect.

The problem device may appear and then disappear. Try to quickly capture it with the mouse and disable it.  If it is one of these then post the VID and PID
